Where frosting can help
An obscuring finish is useful where a clear view through the glass is not needed. Consider bathroom glazing, sidelights, consultation spaces and meeting rooms. Full coverage and partial bands create different levels of privacy.
Plan the coverage
Choose coverage based on actual sight lines and the people using the space. A decorative band may look attractive while leaving views above or below it. Ask to review a sample and marked-up coverage before installation.
Decorative does not mean safety-rated
A frosted appearance alone does not establish a safety or security performance. Any required marking, safety glazing or security outcome needs a separate assessment of the applicable product and installation.
Getting a useful quote
Share the pane count, approximate dimensions, suburb and a photo. For branding or patterns, provide artwork and placement preferences. Final design, glass suitability and pricing need confirmation.
